My last marriage was in 1984 to
Gordon Lewis - we divorced in 1990. Gordon began working with Delta Airlines in 1960 and retired to his home town of
Ducktown, Tennessee in 1991. Gordon
passed away 2-14-97.
In 1969 I joined Delta Airlines in Atlanta, Ga. and worked in various departments, all of which were challenging,
rewarding and intensely enjoyable. Since my retirement from Sales Support
(Marketing) on Feb. 29, 1996 I've had time to learn much more about computers.
My extended classes have been in DOS, Lotus, Word Perfect and a plethora
of self taught instruction. It would be wonderful to have more computer
clubs in Atlanta, Georgia.
My interests consist of fishing,
oil painting (which I've not been faithful at), playing the piano, gardening,
teasing my two Grandsons: Brett (age 5) and our new Robert (born 10-96).
On Feb 13, 1998 I became a great-grandmother - my Granddaughter Jennifer
Haton Young gave birth to Allen Young - another baby to tease!
I have a very good friend in my
dog Ted, who is constantly by my side and I've come to believe he's only
so close because of the short leash I keep on him. Another pleasure is
to learn do-it-yourself projects, such as repairing holes in walls, replacing
wall switches, minor plumbing and tile and grout work. The work is fun,
I just wish the materials were more economical.
